This is exactly what I expected! It finally is happening.

Not only will the PS5 games be ported to PC but they will start using more/better features like RT which the PS5 doesn't have. I'm anticipating that this will be for TLOU 1 Remake as well as all other future games. I wouldn't be surprised to see more RT in R&C than what the PS5 can handle.

They announced it yet and probably release after TLOU Part 1 I guess.
I'm guessing in Q1 FY2023 when the game reaches 2 years old.

TLOU Part 1 I'm guessing will be released on PC in Q4 FY2022 (Jan-Mar) but there are a lot of releases to Sony focus with PSVR2... so who knows.
Uncharted and Miles Morales are Q3 FY2022 releases.

Hahaha! Nope, not RT unfortunately.

Make no mistake - I *do* have a powerful PC that can play all these games at full settings. Just because I carry my little SD around to my bed or while sitting on my sofa doesn't mean that's all I have in my house.

This release sort of destroys your useless argument that a game is 8 yrs old right? Can you finally admit that the release window is shortening?

Sure but tbh the game is so dark rt will do Jack shit for reflections in these dark puddles.
Loading, doors and portals experience will be interesting to see on pc.
Dualsense and 3d audio are also fantastic on ps5.
And out of those only dualsense will work but only wired

I'm more interested in the RT shadows which is a big deal. If you can have all the small objects casting accurate shadows where shadow maps couldn't be built for the tiny size, then that's a big win.

Basically confirms it lol
Releases on PC after 2 years.

Now if you are talking about TLOU it is indeed a 9 years old game (not 8).

You can probably try to find a single game releasing on PC in less than 2 years after original release… I will wait playing Ragnarok and future releases.

This is really easy to fake. But it's certain we are getting it on PC eventually.

Edit: NVM, seen his is a scoop

I'm hoping that when Returnal releases on PC, there's a new PS5 update that adds an option which allows you to turn off the rogue like elements. Was really hoping for the game to be similar to Alienation where you keep whatever you acquire but start the map over when you die.

Yeah, I loved it too and im still waiting for DinoNation damn it!!! Would love to see Sony expand Housemarque into two teams. One for major AAA titles and one smaller team for AA titles like DinoNation. Hehehe.

But that doesn’t break the game mechanics?
In Returnal you don’t lose everything… some things carry on after die… so it is part of the game mechanics.

Some things but not everything. Also, the restarting is based on the first three worlds and then the last three worlds. Would be better if it was each individual world. Weapon wise, I had an awesome assault rifle and boom, I died and it was gone. I wasn't happy to say the least.:cry:

That's why you need to build up your skill level to win at the game. I know I've told this story before but the first time I beat it I died around 50 times. I nearly quit the game 3 times out of frustration but in the end I am so glad I didn't.

After I beat it the first time I sat down with it again, and beat the entire game without dying once in one sitting. I could easily feel how much better I had gotten, and I was playing in a way I never could have when I started.

Allowing yourself to stay beefed up would ruin all that because you could just keep building up until it's a lot easier to win. It also would remove any tension revolving around death. And death is also a big part of the story.

Everything you're suggesting would basically make the game quite a bit worse.

Also this was GotY 2021 IMO. It's incredible. I hope PC players actually buy it and enjoy it.

The way you describe everything you went through on the first playthrough is exactly what I DON'T want to go through. I lasted about 4 hours. Great game. Housemarque is excellent and I love most of their games but doing everything over and over while losing good weapons and progress, just nah. Returnal was a $70 digital loss and only reason I don't regret the purchase is because it's Housemarque and that the game is actually great despite it not truly being for me.
